Private Members' Motions
What are Private Members' Motions?
A Private Member’s Motion is a formal proposal by any Elected Member who is not a Minister of the Cabinet of the Legislative Assembly, requesting that the Government consider taking certain action.
It is similar to a Government Motion but is moved by any member of the Assembly and need not be reflective of the policy of the current Government. Private Members’ Motions requires a mover and a seconder.
