A qualified attorney, local businessman and community leader, Mr Connolly is a first time independent MLA for George Town district. His career spans both financial and legal sectors and he has served on several government boards and committees.

Mr Connolly's focus for the future is to improve the standard of education, enhance fiscal responsibility and provide more job opportunities for all.

With community service as his watchword, he is a past Rotary president and has also served as director on both the Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.

A dedicated husband and father, Mr. Connolly is married to Lesley, a busy professional, and the couple have a young son.
