His Excellency the Acting Governor, the Hon. George McCarthy, OBE, JP, hosted a farewell reception for the visiting MPs from London at Government House on Monday, 31 July.

Entertained with traditional Caymanian music by the local group Swanky, the visiting MPs and their spouses mingled with invited guests and enjoyed the fare prepared and served by the Government House staff.

The MPs were concluding a week's visit, during which they met individuals from the government and private sector. They also toured several facilities in Grand Cayman including the Cayman Islands Hospital, the Wastewater Management Plant, Pedro Castle and the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park.
