Youth Parliament Assisted
Published 3rd March 2014, 4:20pm
Students busy preparing for this year's Youth Parliament on Commonwealth Day, 10 March 2014, have received some help from local businesses and firms.
National carrier Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) customer service representatives Christina Ulett and Samantha McLaughlin joined Cayman National Bank (CNB) Executive Assistant Christy Braggs to present donations to the young people recently.
"Our sincere thanks go to our sponsors," said Clerk of the Legislative Assembly Zena Merren-Chin. "Each year CAL sponsors our Cayman Brac students and their chaperones so they can participate in the rehearsals, as well as on the actual day.
"Likewise, CNB along with Mourant Ozannes, RBC, Dart Enterprises, Ernst & Young, ABS Trade, Conyers Dill & Pearman, Ogier and Walkers have provided monetary assistance. We are very grateful to all of the sponsors this year for encouraging our participants and promoting youth engagement in our community," Ms Merren-Chin added.
