Biography

With the People's Progressive Movement victory in the 2005 elections, Mr. Tibbetts became Leader of Government Business and Minister of District Administration, Planning, Agriculture and Housing.

Mr. Tibbetts has represented the district of George Town in the Legislative Assembly since 1992. During 2000-2001 he served as Minister for Planning, Communications and Works and as Leader of Government Business. He is a founding member of the People's Progressive Movement and served as the Leader of the Opposition, 2001-2005.

Mr. Tibbetts owned and managed a printing business for over twenty five years. Before becoming an elected representative, he participated in community service projects, distinguishing himself during his leadership of the Lions Club.

He is married to Shirley-Ann, and the couple have three children.
